"Sometimes there just isn't a right thing." You're right Katharine, as firmly as we might hold certain values, sometimes we face choices where neither option is what we want.

What's important is that we make the best choice we can—which is why it's so frustrating that a minority that holds power thinks it's right to take that freedom away from us. I can't believe how so many people want their personal beliefs to become laws, knowing that it strips others of their right to determine what's right for themselves.

I appreciate you taking the time to read other Medium writers' articles on abortion laws with an open mind and a desire for unity. People hold such strong convictions that they can't even listen to each other or even question what they believe in.
